BRUTTIUM. Terina. Circa 440-425 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 7.41 g, 6 h). Head of the nymph Terina to left, her hair bound in an ampyx adorned with an olive leaf; to right, Δ. Rev. [TEPINAI]ΩN Nike seated left on cippus, wearing kiton and himation, holding wreath in her outstretched right hand and kerykeion in her left. BMC 26. HN Italy 2579. Holloway-Jenkins 23. Regling 24. Nicely toned. Slightly rough, otherwise, very fine.
